Congrats to the 14 and under Rochester Warrior May Madness tournament win. A total team effort. Wins on Saturday vs WNY Lady Lakers and Rochester Warriors by about 8. Sunday wins vs Unity from Syracuse by 7 and Niagara Rapids by 4 in a great game to be involved in. Way for everyone to step up. You are playing in all A tournaments. You should all be proud of yourself's.
Another weekend of being so close, but not being able to finish off the opposition, cropped up again, as it did the weekend before in the Western Finger Lakes Tournament. Leading going into the second half in three out of four games, the 16U team came out with only one victory for their efforts in the Warriors Tournament. Though their record hasn't indicated their hard work, the team has been getting much respect from opposing coaches and teams.

The 16U team needed a 5 point victory in the last game of the Western Finger Lakes Tournament, to lay claim to their 1st pool championship of the season. The team led by 9 points in the 1st half, but ran out of gas in the second half and ended up on the short end of a hard fought game, 48 - 40. The team lost Paige Remington, for a minimum of 4 weeks, with a sprained wrist and ligament damage to her ankle. All Paige's teammates wish her a speedy recovery.
